Appointment Cancellation Policy

At HACT, we are committed to providing high-quality, personalised physiotherapy services. To ensure fairness and availability for all our clients, we kindly ask that you respect our cancellation policy outlined below.

Appointment Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that sometimes plans change or emergencies arise which means you are unable to attend an appointment. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us 24 to 48 hours in advance.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the session cost (for private patients)
  • Missed appointments (no-shows) without any prior notice will be charged the full session fee (for private patients)
  • If we are not informed prior to your appointment time, the session will be marked as attended, and you will lose that appointment (for insurance patients)

If you leave a message after hours, the time stamp of your message will be taken into account.


Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to avoid disrupting other scheduled appointments. You will still be charged for the full session.

Exceptions

We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances happen. In such cases, exceptions to this policy may be made following discussion and agreement with your clinician.


Why This Policy Matters

Last-minute cancellations or no-shows prevent us from offering that appointment slot to another client in need of care. This policy helps us maintain the highest level of service for all clients.
